American Law Made Simple ("ALMS," "we," "us," or "our") is an educational app that provides daily legal terminology, court case summaries, historical events, study quizzes, and law firm internship search. • Authentication Data: Secure access tokens used to keep you signed in.
• Location Data: Approximate device location is used only when you tap "Use my location" on the Internships page to find nearby law firms. Location is used for the search and is not stored.
• Usage Data: Anonymous analytics such as which features you use, to improve the app experience.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To display personalized daily content.
• To find law firms near your location when you request it.
• To send optional daily reminder emails (only if you opt in).
• To improve our content and features through anonymous usage analytics.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using our platform provider's managed infrastructure. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We do not store your location data on our servers.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to operate the app, including authentication (Google sign-in), cloud hosting, and AI-powered search for the Internships feature. These providers may process limited data necessary to deliver their services. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by opening Settings in the app and tapping "Delete Account." This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Children's Privacy

ALMS is an educational app suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights by deleting your account in the app's Settings or by contacting us.
